The Degree Works Web Interface Training Google site was developed as a component of the Degree Works project. The purpose of this site is to provide an online introductory training as a preliminary step for preparing Registrar End Users for advanced training on the Degree Works Web Interface.

 

This artifact supports Standards 2.b and 2.d for Teachers as it demonstrates my ability to develop technology-enriched learning environments which support independent learning experiences, empowering the learner to learn at their own pace, as well as direct their own training experience within the scope of the materials presented. Learners work in conjunction with their supervisor to set their own goals and time frame for meeting the training goals of their position.

 

The site contains several benchmark assessments which, in conjunction with their supervisor, provide guidance on additional training/development areas. Some of those assessments are in the form of online quizzes and some are based on observation and hands on opportunities.
