A Little About Me ...

 

My name is Danielle Ambrose and I am currently a student in the Master of Science: Information Technology program at Western Oregon University (WOU). I am a professional in higher education, currently serving as Interim Registrar at WOU. Having worked in Higher Education Administration for twelve years the majority of my experience comes from the administrative side of education.

 

In addition to my career I am also a mother of two young girls who love learning. You will find portions of my portfolio geared towards activities I have designed to engage them in learning at home. 

 

One of my favorite things to do, other than spend time with my family and navigate the trenches of higher education, is engage in creative and artistic endeavors. I enjoy photography, painting, drawing, and many other forms of art. This is the third component of my portfolio you will come across. Since I am not a teacher, in the traditional sense, I have used the learning experiences in this program to expand and supplement what I do in my career and personal life. 

 

The MS Education: Information Technology program was a perfect fit for me and has empowered me to find new creative solutions in everything I do.
